Gypsy is busy promoting her memoir which has been years in the making, while juggling the final stretch of pregnancy. Gypsy realizes that in order to gain the ultimate independence that motherhood will require, it’s time to face her fears and learn to drive. Because of her past, Gypsy has never so much as sat behind the wheel of a car. As she navigates Louisiana roads for the first time as a driver, she also must endure a wave of online threats and scrutiny over the book. When it is learned that protestors are planning to be at her highly anticipated book-signing event in New Orleans, Gypsy and those around her grow increasingly concerned for her safety.
